This is what the storm named Tuva looked like wednesday evening. (The little red cross is me… hello!!!) It has moved eastward (our way) since then, and is expected to reach its peak roundabout now.
We’re not affected really - the wind is blowing, but there are no raging seas or falling trees around here. A bit further west, though, they’re afraid for their harbors, and the odd van has already been blown off course…
I know - it’s nothing, compared to hurricanes in Florida, tsunamis, tornados, but it’s here, now, and it’s far from the norm…
I’m sending a warm thought to anyone who’s out at sea today…
