This is something that occurs in winter, and involves ice crystals in the clouds, and sunlight being reflected. It’s called Mother-of-pearl clouds, or nacreous clouds, and we’ve had quite a bit of it lately. Pretty, isn’t it?

Oh, how BEAUTIFUL! I’ve seen things CLOSE to this, but not like that….I wish I could see that up close and personal, though…beautiful!
