I joined Blogrush some time ago with my other blog, and I was quite happy with how it worked out for me.
A little while after I joined, their site went into “reconstruction”, and was partially out for quite some time.
They’re back now, with a vengeance… and I’m even happier!
Blogrush works like this:
You earn syndication points for your traffic and for the traffic on the blogs you refer, which means that your latest posts are shown randomly on the Blogrush widget - on other blogs - thus directing traffic to your site.
On your dashboard, the stat reports show you your traffic and the traffic from your referral network, the points that traffic has generated, how many times your latest posts have been shown on other blogs, and the number of visits to each post.
How I’ve done? Not too badly. There hasn’t exactly been a surge of visitors, but some have found their way to me, and I suspect these are visitors that wouldn’t have found me otherwise.
I haven’t been very good at writing catchy headlines either - your headline is what people see, so to attract people to your site, thinking about the headline is a good idea.
All in all, I like Blogrush. It’s totally free, doesn’t interfere with anything, and the widget comes in several attractive colors (or flavors - mine is Pear)… The stats are great, and if it drives some unexpected traffic to my blog(s), I ask for no more…
Click the logo on the widget, or click here, and you can read all about it - or just sign up…
