1903x.jpgI feel I need to do something with my life – basically, to get a job or start a business. A financial necessity that will most likely arise with the increase of interest rates, but also a personal thing.

I’m not a salesperson. By that, I mean that I don’t think I could ever sell goods I’m not passionate about. Even though some weight loss pills sell like hotcakes, I’d be hard put to peddle those, or any type of dietary supplements or skin care products, because unless I really believe in something, I’d be very bad at getting people to spend money on it. (Why I mention this? The easiest way to start a business from home is by selling skin care/nutrition products. The problem is choosing which MLM company to go for… As well as the actual selling, of course!)

What I would love to do, is either to start a “Green care” project here on the farm, involving either kids in difficulty or a work training programme for people who need help getting back into the workplace. What I’d love to do as well, is develop my interest in silk painting, vintage clothing and redesign, producing clothes and accessories from second hand textiles and bling, as well as selling vintage clothes.

I think I have to start investigating “Green care” first. My “green” second hand design business will have to be developing slowly on the side. That’s ok, though. We may be able to get a government grant to develop a care programme here, whereas a business, however second hand, requires investments. First things first, right?
In time, I may be able to combine the two, you never know.

Stumble it!
