# 4 Brat got a lot of lovely presents for her confirmation - she also got quite a bit of money. Money that’s currently burning holes in her pockets…
She hasn’t quite decided what to use it for yet - my suggestions of a savings account haven’t been dismissed altogether (behold the puzzled look on my face!), but she would very much like to go shopping for some clothes with a couple of her friends. Her earlier wish for a skateboard hasn’t been mentioned again (I’m not going to suggest it, I’m too afraid of bruised faces and broken necks!), and the inevitable xbox 360 or other games consoles aren’t as attractive when you have to use your own money to buy them…
I guess that’s a healthy sign!
I won’t begrudge her the shopping spree though - knowing her, there’ll be plenty left over to put in the bank!
