Sarcastic Mom and her family are living in mould hell, they’re all getting sick from it - her BABY BOY is getting sick… Their landlord does nothing but procrastinate, and all they want and need is to get out of there as fast as possible. Medical bills are piling up, though, and terminating the lease before time might be costly.
Go see A Whole Lot Of Nothing for things you can do to help, or go see Sarcastic Mom for an overview of the ghastly situation and a PayPal donation button.
Any donation is appreciated!

As I’ve said in previous posts, I can’t post all the Big Bang links in one post, so I have to divide them into batches. For the rules and updated master list, please go HERE.

I only just recently discovered the workings of feeds, which was an epiphany of sorts… I’ve been finding new blogs to subscribe to every day since. I visit my reader too, in case you’re wondering!

As with anything new, I have my eye on the reader widget. Somehow I had 14 readers when I put it up - I obviously have some very net-savvy friends out there. Since then, the number has gone up and down on a daily basis. The overall trend is positive, but I wonder how people use it? 36 one day, then down to 25, and back up to 31 the next day. Do they jump back and forth, subscribe/unsubscribe, or do people just stay subscribed for a day or two, to see if anything interesting arises?? What a depressing thought - if that’s the case, I’m losing 4-5 potentially faithful readers every day due to terribly boring content…

On the other hand, we can’t all be writing about making money online, how to game Google, who’s had who in Hollywood or the latest SEO tricks - at least not every day.

I’ll just plod on, I think. The trend is, as I said, positive. I’m not sure when I put the thing up - a little less than a month ago, perhaps? Which means that I’ve gained one roughly every two days. Not bad at all *patting myself on the back*, considering.

I won’t be having any contests to have people subscribe, that would just add to the in/out crowd.
I will, however, point out to anyone reading this that the subscribe button is the orange/stripy thing top right, but that’s as far as I’ll go…

To you, รด faithful ones, I extend a “thank you”, and a wish for a wonderful Valentine’s Day. (The rest of you have a great one as well!!!)

I had to delete my first Big Bang post today - I tried to update the link list, and the contents disappeared. I then tried to post it again - without any luck. The links list kept disappearing.

I don’t know what happens. maybe there are just too many links… So I’ve decided to post the links in batches. The last 300 or so are in the previous post, and the first 200 follow below. If you want to join in, you’ll just have to go HERE to find the entire master list and the rules……

Oh, and Comedy Plus tagged me.

I have a blogger friend who’s cruise mad. In fact, she states that she’s never happier than on board a cruise liner - and this is a lady who has a house in PODUNK, ladies and gentlemen…

The wonderful part is that she’s got her husband, the military man, and the rest of her family trained to be cruise buffs too, and before Christmas, this great lady and her hubby took their family off… on a cruise.

An all time favourite of hers (and I think she’s got the experience to know what she’s talking about!) are the carnival cruises - i.e. Carnival Cruise Lines. She hops from one ship to another on their large fleet, and this lady knows her Lido deck from her Captain’s Corner…

So… can you guess who I’m talking about? The answer is close at hand!

I didn’t think there’d be any - so thank you, whoever you are, you made my day.

Could you get together and find a date that’s good for you, so I can invite y’all for a meal???

Oh, and it’s OK if I get more subscribers. I’ll soon be able to have a barn-party-meal-dance do!

RT from Untwisted Vortex told us yesterday about a rough patch he’s going through in A Possible Disappearing Act. In the comments that ensued, he was inundated with support, and with people telling him to put up a Paypal Donate button. He didn’t want to - he felt it would be like begging, but eventually gave in to the collective pressure of the Blogosphere. He posted this :The Hardest Thing I’ve Ever Done on the subject.

RT has been giving advice and blog shout-outs “forever”… I’ve been lucky enough to have been included in his “Blog Drive-By’s” a few times, and I do consider it an honor! He also happens to be running a very good blog/site. I’m happy to be part of the blogging community rallying round him in this difficult time… Please go and visit Untwisted Vortex, and help if you can. If not, verbal support is greatly appreciated too.
While you’re there, tell him to leave that button up, and not talk more nonsense of “having a limit”… Tell him to treat his wife (she’s sick) to something nice while he visits her in the US if he happens to be given more than he thought he’d need!!!
