I have plantar fasciitis (for 20 years) and now my girls do also. There are treatments, so do talk again with your doctor. It can take months to heal, but it can be done. There are excercises you can do, a boot/splint to wear and night and a new medication you can rub directly onto your foot. When the symptoms are remedied, then you need to find a special shoe store that can get you shoes with special arch supports. It can get better, I am proof.
