I only just recently discovered the workings of feeds, which was an epiphany of sorts… I’ve been finding new blogs to subscribe to every day since. I visit my reader too, in case you’re wondering!

As with anything new, I have my eye on the reader widget. Somehow I had 14 readers when I put it up - I obviously have some very net-savvy friends out there. Since then, the number has gone up and down on a daily basis. The overall trend is positive, but I wonder how people use it? 36 one day, then down to 25, and back up to 31 the next day. Do they jump back and forth, subscribe/unsubscribe, or do people just stay subscribed for a day or two, to see if anything interesting arises?? What a depressing thought - if that’s the case, I’m losing 4-5 potentially faithful readers every day due to terribly boring content…

On the other hand, we can’t all be writing about making money online, how to game Google, who’s had who in Hollywood or the latest SEO tricks - at least not every day.

I’ll just plod on, I think. The trend is, as I said, positive. I’m not sure when I put the thing up - a little less than a month ago, perhaps? Which means that I’ve gained one roughly every two days. Not bad at all *patting myself on the back*, considering.

I won’t be having any contests to have people subscribe, that would just add to the in/out crowd.
I will, however, point out to anyone reading this that the subscribe button is the orange/stripy thing top right, but that’s as far as I’ll go…

To you, รด faithful ones, I extend a “thank you”, and a wish for a wonderful Valentine’s Day. (The rest of you have a great one as well!!!)
