interesting post. I think this is one of those questions that never will be answered. From a historical context, there is no clear cut proof Jesus had any children. Also however, it seems there could be a chance he did.

I would lean towards the former, however the latter is not out of the realm of possibilities. Besides, even if Jesus did have children, It doesn't make him any less.

its good to have an open mind about things. Good blog, take care.

I hesitate to identify myself as a "Christian" most of the time mainly because I have this thing about people who do that and at the same time, are looking down their fine nose at me for whatever reason they decide makes me "unworthy" in their so-good, Christian eyes, ya know.
But anyway, for the record, I am one of "them" in name anyway and I do belong to a church which I attend but am not a really regular attendee. Which technically, as I perceive the Bible, etc., does not necessarily make me a bad person -i.e. Christian -but in some folks eyes, boy it sure does label me.
I really appreciated your postulations here -probably because I do tend to agree with your view on this topic. People say "God wrote the Bible" and I say "No, not with the pen in his hand did he do that" and some get really irksome when I say that. But it has been transcribed and translated again and again and again -and then some more -and each translation probably is adjusted somewhat to whatever words seem to work best in that language and then it becomes a bit of a judgment call as to what words are actually "God's Words" too ya know. People forget that when the stories in the Bible happened, it was such a totally different era and one has to take that in consideration when understanding various writings and traditions and the cultures involved then as well. Way confusing at times.
Okay -time to give it a rest from me now as I am now thinking in circles and writing in them too.
But very good, very, very interesting post!
