As for the soda cake - soda is the same thing as pop or a soft drink. 7-up, Dr. Pepper, Coke, Pepsi, Orange Soda, Grape Soda and so on. I hadn’t thought about the fact that it might be referenced as something different where you are. I learn something new everyday. What do you call it?

I have two questions:
1. Who would think that a giant thumb was art?
2. What idiot city actually paid taxpayer money to commission an eye sore like this. Unless this was a private commission, then why didn’t he (I can’t see a woman commissioning this) just put it in his living room where no one else needs to look at it.
