I would be fine with Global Warming if there weren’t so much water… It’s pouring down buckets here, and in January, rain is a cold, windy affair. The temperatures are ranging from -5 to +5 on a daily basis, and snow and rain are alternating.
For my poor joints, that means stiffening up more and more every day. Honest, wintry COLD weather would have been so much better! These low pressure fronts are terrible!
End of today’s whining session.
Luckily, we built our house with a possible future handicap in mind - everything we’ll need when we’re old and grey is on the ground floor. We can live here well into our dotage years if we so choose, even without a stair lift, since all that’s upstairs are the kids’ bedrooms and an extra bathroom. We could even get around quite easily with a wheelchair - all doors are sliding doors, with no thresholds. Might have to lose some stuff though, lol! All we’d need would be a ramp up to the front door and a grocery delivery service…
I wouldn’t mind some proper winter soon. Cold, crisp, sunny days… Plenty of photo opps, too!
